In 2026, HCI brought its engineering, sales, marketing and management teams to 141 Regal Road in Guelph, joining the people, equipment and manufacturing know-how built over decades under the Accu-Tech, Hydra-Matic and Cyl-Tech names. The result is one company that combines the precision-manufacturing depth of three established shops with HCI's engineering resources, sales reach and manufacturing experience going back to 1978.

This is not a new partnership. Muhammed Sayyed and Tahir Chaudry have worked together in precision manufacturing for more than a decade, and bringing HCI to Regal Road is the next step in a long-standing relationship built on shared standards and trust.

For long-standing customers, what you rely on is still here: the same facility, the same equipment, the same technical leadership and many of the same skilled people, now backed by a larger team, more capacity and more capabilities under one roof.

We are also implementing a company-wide ERP system that brings quoting, orders, production, quality and delivery into one platform, for faster quotes, clearer lead times and full traceability.

Tahir Chaudry, P.Eng.

Senior Vice President, Advanced Manufacturing

Tahir Chaudry leads HCI Advanced Manufacturing at 141 Regal Road. He founded Accu-Tech in 2001 and built it into a trusted precision CNC manufacturer serving industrial, defence and specialized customers for more than two decades. Together with the team he built, he continues to lead the capabilities customers have relied on for years: multi-axis CNC turning and milling, Swiss-type machining, precision tooling, hydraulic and pneumatic components, inspection and production engineering.

Tahir and Muhammed Sayyed have been business partners in precision machining for more than a decade, a relationship that laid the foundation for HCI Advanced Manufacturing.

With HCI's engineering, sales and marketing teams now working alongside him, Tahir leads the integration of machining, CNC metal spinning, tube bending and fabrication into one operation. His responsibilities include automation and process control, quality and inspection systems, operator training, and qualifying HCI's capabilities for aerospace, defence, infrastructure and industrial customers. He has made a long-term commitment to HCI Advanced Manufacturing and its customers.

Muhammed Sayyed

President and CEO

Muhammed Sayyed is a senior business and technology executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience in operations, information technology, implementation and business transformation. At HCI, he has led product and process modernization, from advanced LED fixture design and thermal management to CNC pipe bending, CNC milling and other automated processes.

Muhammed has worked alongside Tahir Chaudry in precision manufacturing for more than a decade, and is now leading the combination of HCI and HCI Advanced Manufacturing into one organization, including the company-wide ERP implementation. He is also driving HCI's growth into infrastructure, industrial, defence and aerospace markets.
